Projects

The Globus Project

Probably my favorite project, which I still have not finished - I am currently on version 9. It poses a very difficult challenge as it requires precision in all aspects - from the program, to the modelling and printing of the physical parts.

The idea of the project is to control a laser in the middle of a translucent globe and show a wanted location, whether it be a location on a globe, the location of a satellite in orbit, or a location of a celestial body.

Sim-Astro

I am very grateful I get to be paid to do something I've done in high-school in my free time - this is a student job of mine I am working on, with one of the astronomy professors on my college. The project can be accessed on the link https://sim.astro.fmf.uni-lj.si.

The idea of the project is to interactively teach young students the basics of our astronomical courses. The whole project revolves around our simulator, which allows us to simulate and show the trajectories of any bodies we want, while also showing how different values of those bodies change over time (like energy, angular momentum and so on).
